Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful Information

How is Innovative Life Solutions different from other counseling or wellness centers?

There are many differences but here are a couple that our clients value most:

1. All of our providers are independently licensed business owners. When you reach out to any of us, you are calling our direct line and will not have to go through a receptionist or an office manager in order to get in touch with us.

2. We are concerned with your overall well being when we see you. This means that we will help to ensure that both your physical (nutrition, sleep, exercise) and emotional needs are being met as these all greatly impact your overall well-being. We offer collaborative services all under one roof to help meet your needs and to explore concerns that you may have.

3. We are innovators in our fields who are constantly seeking to find the most effective evidence-based treatments, meaning that they have been scientifically proven to be effective, to help our clients to get the best care possible and to reach their goals.

How do I know which provider is right for me?

It is of utmost importance that you are able to feel comfortable and connect with your provider as this will strengthen the effectiveness of your treatment. We recommend that you spend a little time looking at our provider information on this site and that you use the link to visit our separate websites in order to get a feel for how we work. If you are still unsure, or deciding between a couple of practitioners, you may call one of us and we will ask you some questions to help you make your decision. We all work cooperatively with one another and frequently have clients who seek out acupuncture and medication evaluation or management in conjunction to regular therapy sessions. We work to make it easy for you to get your needs met in a holistic way by having providers who can offer many different services all in one place.

Do your providers take insurance?

Laura Mellon accepts some insurances. Please check her website or speak with her for more specific information. Our other providers are out of network providers, meaning that they do not accept insurance and you would pay expenses out of pocket for services. All providers accept cash, check, credit cards, Zelle and Health Savings or Flex Spending Accounts.
